01

the problem

  • Overlays paint over problems and leave the markup broken; whole-page DOM rewriting corrupts SVG and block themes. Checkout pages, where the real failures live, never get scanned because scanners cannot fill a cart.

02

the engineering

  • An output buffer hands every page to a targeted opening-tag rewriter; every rule re-validates inside apply so corrupt data can never become an HTML write primitive; deactivation reverts the site.

  • Three detection engines — axe-core, HTML_CodeSniffer, IBM Equal Access — scan the same rendered page and reconcile per success criterion. The WooCommerce checkout is scanned with a real cart populated across three generations of Woo markup, after React hydration settles.

03

the proof

  • 888 unit tests, 722 live integration assertions, 80 end-to-end journeys; shipped through a 54-round adversarial review arc in which every finding was fixed red-first. Approved on WordPress.org.
